Rotary Information Center Mongolia
The initiative to establish the Rotary Information Center in Mongolia was first launched by the founding members of the Rotary Club of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’s first Rotary club: Ganbold Chuluun (District Governor in 2002–2003 and 2010–2011), Namsrai Gelenkhuu (District Governor in 2012–2013), Bekhbat Sodnom (District Governor in 2006–2007), Oyungerel Erdenebileg (District Governor in 2014–2015), and Ganzorig Tsend (District Governor in 2016–2017). They made the initial establishment possible by contributing their personal donations and resources to furnish the Center.
Mongolia currently has 23 Rotary clubs, 13 Rotaract clubs, 21 Interact clubs, and one Junioract club officially registered with Rotary International and actively operating in the country. These clubs belong to Rotary International District 3450, headquartered in Hong Kong, and operate in two designated areas, Areas 9 and 10, in accordance with the District’s bylaws.
In every country where Rotary is actively engaged, a District-level Rotary Information Center operates with official authorization and registration from Rotary International.
