Rotary International is a global organization dedicated to fostering peace and addressing challenges among the communities. It carries out impactful programs and projects across seven key areas: promoting peace, supporting maternal and child health, disease prevention and treatment, providing clean water and sanitation, enhancing basic education, supporting local economic development, and protecting the environment.
Rotary first took root in Mongolia in 1995 with the founding of the “Ulaanbaatar Rotary Club.” Since then, the movement has grown significantly, now encompassing 23 Rotary clubs for adults aged 30 and over, 14 Rotaract clubs for young adults aged 18–30, 23 Interact clubs for youth aged 12–18, and Junioract clubs for children aged 6–12. The Rotary Movement in Mongolia operates under the administrative structure of Rotary International’s Zone 10C, District 3450, within Areas 9 and 10. Each club is organized to function with a minimum of 20 members.
