RC BOGD

Mongolia’s first Rotary Satellite Club focuses on supporting education, particularly promoting coaching among children and young people. For instance, within the framework of the “Let’s read” project, the Club has cooperated with Mongolian and international Rotary Clubs to establish an English-language library at school No. 18 in Darkhan city. Additionally, the club organises educational lecture series for soldiers of the Ulaankhuaran military unit in Ulaanbaatar and provides tutoring in Mongolian language, mathematics, physics and English for 10th to 12th grade students in outskirt schools. These efforts aim to help students successfully prepare for university entrance exams, achieve high scores, and gain equal opportunities to enrol at universities in their preferred fields of study.

Educational lectures at the Ulaankhuaran 029 military unit

Military life is not only about physical training, discipline, and fulfilling duties. A well-rounded individual is distinguished not just by strength but by knowledge, wisdom, and character. That’s why the weekly cultural and educational sessions—delivered by experts from various fields—are an essential part of a soldier’s development during military service.

  • Broadening Knowledge and Perspective
  • Supporting Mental Well-being and Motivation
  • Helping Define Future Goals
  • Developing Communication and Social Skills
  • Adding Meaning and Depth to Military Life

Cultural and educational content enriches the military experience, making it not just a time of physical growth but of intellectual and emotional maturity. It turns service into a memorable, meaningful phase of life.

“An educated soldier is a strong soldier.”

These lectures serve as intellectual armor—preparing young men not only to defend their nation but also to return as responsible, thoughtful, and capable citizens.
