The Rotary Club of Khangai was officially registered with Rotary International District 3450 on June 10, 2024, and received its Charter certificate on July 6, 2024, at the Mongolian Rotary Area 9 & 10 Installation Ceremony.

The Club members are representatives of various fields with diverse skills, education, and knowledge, including 2 members of the national parliament, 2 representatives of the provincial citizens’ assembly, 2 PhDs, 4 doctors, business owners, qualified consultants, and representatives of civil society.

Guided by the Rotary values of service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership, the club aims to promote community development and advance opportunities for all, support vulnerable and underserved groups, strengthen networks and partnerships, foster leadership and fellowship, and operate in the Khangai region and beyond in Mongolia.

Completed Projects:

Our Signature Project: Wheelchairs for Kids

Purpose: Provide specially designed, WHO-standard wheelchairs to children with disabilities.

Achievements since 2024:

• Transported 320 wheelchairs from Australia to Mongolia in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Sumner Park, Australia, and Wheelchairs for Kids, Australia.
• Distributed wheelchairs to over 170 children in need across 12 provinces and 3 districts.
• Trained 12 volunteers through assembly workshops led by Australian physiotherapists.
