RC NEW BRIDGE

Rotary Club of New Bridge is one of the youngest Rotary Clubs in Mongolia, established in 2023. Now in its second year of operation, we have a diverse and youthful membership representing healthcare, education, psychology, international relations, trade, marketing, journalism, aviation, construction, tourism, government, and business. By combining experience, passion, and vision, our members are committed to making a meaningful contribution to society. We strive not only to serve the community but also to promote personal growth, expand meaningful friendships, and create joyful, inspiring moments as a team—an approach that strengthens our unity and fuels our collective motivation to make a difference.

Flagship Project: Braille Paper Donation Initiative

In partnership with the Osaka Umeda Rotary Club of Japan, we are implementing a high-impact project for the second consecutive year to enhance educational access for children with visual impairments. We have also started preparations for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The Clubs are working with Public School No. 116, Mongolia’s only public school dedicated to visually impaired students. During the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 academic years, the following materials are being produced and distributed:

1,254 Braille textbooks
250 instructional manuals
A selection of literary books for leisure reading

In addition, special Braille notebooks for students with total visual impairment are being produced. Over two years, 28 million sheets (2 metric tonnes) of Braille paper have been donated from Japan. MIAT Mongolian Airlines has provided full logistical support, covering transportation costs as part of their corporate social responsibility.

The success of this project ensures visually impaired students receive educational materials in an accessible format, enabling full participation in their learning process.

This initiative stands as a model of inclusive education and international cooperation—demonstrating how community service, global partnerships, and compassionate action can collectively ensure equal access to education. There are no boundaries in education. With selfless commitment and united effort, we can build a brighter future.
