ROTARY CLUB OF HUNNU

Rotary Club of Hunnu was officially established in Ulaanbaatar on November 11, 2023, with the approval of Rotary International President Gordon R. McClally. Rotary Club of Hunnu is a daughter club of Tuul Rotary Club. The Club consists of 11 men and 11 women, or a total of 22 members, who are leaders in the industry.

After our Club was established, we joined forces with our new member, the Jeju Hanlim Rotary Club of District 3662, Republic of Korea, to donate toys and educational materials to kindergartens 166 and 171 in Sukhbaatar District, bringing joy to children in the rural ger areas. This activity left a positive impression on our members.

The founder of the Rotary Club of Hunnu and the president for 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, GANBAT.E, is an experienced humanitarian who was one of the founders of the Tuul Rotary Club in 2004, the Club President for 2017-2018, and the Assistant Governor of Area 10, District 3450 in 2019-2020.

Members of the Rotary Club of Hunnu actively participate in various humanitarian activities and continue to actively learn about the Rotary organisation by exchanging knowledge and information. The Rotary Club of Hunnu, in collaboration with the Jeju Seongsanpo Sumbi Club of Rotary International District 3662, is going to implement the “Medical Vehicles Equipped for 103 Ambulance Centers in Ulaanbaatar” Global Grant project (GG2574004).

We are also pleased to be ready to implement the GG2454132 project to donate medical supplies and equipment to rural hospitals 1,000 km away in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Ulaanbaatar.

We are implementing an annual programme to promote the nature, summer, and pastoral life of our country to our Rotarians in the Republic of Korea, their families, friends, and supporters, and to take them on horseback rides, livestock farming, and scenic tours in the countryside.

We are planning to implement many projects in 7 areas in society.
