12 years ago, on May 2, 2013, 15 young mothers from the Mommy Central Facebook group united their desire to participate in humanitarian activities and joined the ranks of over 1 million Rotarians worldwide to establish the 9th Rotary Club of Mongolia, the Narlag Ulaanbaatar Rotary Club. The first “I Can Do It” project was implemented in July 2014, when they renovated the physical therapy room at School No. 25 for children with special needs. The project was successfully implemented and inspired Club members to say, “We Can Do It.” Over the past 12 years, the Narlag Ulaanbaatar Rotary Club has implemented 30 projects in the areas of supporting basic education, disease prevention, promoting maternal and child health, and protecting the environment, spending a total of over 14,000 volunteer man-hours, and the number of direct and indirect beneficiaries of the projects has reached over 370,000. In 2025-2026, the number of our members is 23, and we established 3 interactive clubs AND are preparing secondary school pupils to become future Rotarians.
