Rotary club of Ikh Urgoo
The Urgoo Rotary Club officially joined the Rotary family of Mongolia in June 2012. Our Club's activities began in 2009 under the name Lexus Rotary Club" as an NGO, and from January 2012, with the support and guidance of the Ulaanbaatar Rotary Club, we prepared to join Rotary International and officially registered in June.
We have honoured ten of our members as Paul Harris Fellows and recognised two as Major Donors.
In 2023, we established a sister Club relationship with the Melawati Rotary Club of Rotary District 3300, and in 2024, we collaborated on a Global Grant project. In 2024, we also became a sister Club with the Makatan Legazpi Rotary Club of Rotary District 3830, and we are planning to jointly implement a Global Grant project in 2025.
Additionally, our Club established the Urgoo Rotaract Club in 2013 and the Urgoo Interact Club in 2022.
In 2025, we plan to establish a new affiliate, the Urgoo Club, to expand the reach of the Rotary movement and create more effective opportunities for public engagement.
