RC SELBE
The Selbe Rotary Club was established in 2007 with 25 dedicated charter members and proudly registered as a member of Rotary International. Our members hold important positions in healthcare, education, law, and business sectors. Like all Rotary members, we are committed to serving humanity and implementing numerous impactful projects and programs.
Our Club began its humanitarian journey by establishing a sister-club relationship with the Sorok Rotary Club of Sokcho City, District 3730, South Korea. We created a fully equipped yurt-style childcare center, complete with essential household appliances; developed Life Skills Centers, kindergartens, and schools with libraries; donated children’s toys, musical instruments, and school supplies; and provided fully insulated ger units to homeless and low-income families with many children in Songino Khairkhan and Bayanzurkh districts, improving their living conditions and warmth during harsh winters.

Highlighted Projects:
- 2009–2010: Collaborated with Puhan Central Rotary Club (District 3630, Korea) to facilitate surgeries for five visually impaired individuals, significantly restoring their sight and quality of life.
- 2009–2013: Partnered with Albuquerque Del Norte Rotary Club (District 5520, USA) on the “Safety Box” project, distributing durable medical waste bins to hospitals in nine aimags (Khentii, Dornod, Sukhbaatar, Dundgovi, Arkhangai, Uvurkhangai, Bayankhongor, Khuvsgul, and Tuv), with each bin lasting 2-3 years.
- 2011–2012: Through Global Grant project #73884 “Water Project”, built two deep water wells in Gatsuurt village (Bayanzurkh District, Ulaanbaatar), supplying clean drinking water to hundreds of residents. The wells were officially transferred to Bayanzurkh District Department.
- 2016: Partnered with Narlag Rotary Club on the “Early Childhood Book Project” providing training and donating books to early education institutions to support literacy.
- 2016–2018: Collaborated with Maebashi Rotary Club (District 2840, Japan) on “Capacity Building for Teaching Sign Language to Children with Hearing Impairments” project.
- 2017–2019 (GG1870900): Continued support for hearing-impaired education through advanced training for teachers both locally and in Japan.
- 2018–2019: Conducted a soil pollution cleanup project focusing on environmental rehabilitation and public health awareness.
- 2019–2022 (GG2119832): Provided early detection equipment for lung diseases to regional hospitals, including training medical professionals for effective usage.
- 2020–2023 (GG2124721): In partnership with the Rotary Clubs of Ulaanbaatar and Soebu (Korea), delivered respiratory and body measurement equipment to border regions during the COVID-19 pandemic to support vulnerable communities.

The Selbe Rotary Club consists of a dedicated and diverse group of professionals who excel in their fields. United by a spirit of cooperation and service, our members work passionately to create a meaningful impact in the community.
Meetings are held weekly on Wednesdays, providing a platform for collaboration, inspiration, and action.
