On February 27, 2002, the Khuree Rotary Club was established as the second Rotary Club in Mongolia and the 50th Club of Rotary International District 3450. Today, we proudly celebrate our 23rd anniversary—23 years of service, fellowship, and impact. Throughout this journey, we have successfully chartered two daughter Clubs—Selbe and Selenge Rotary Clubs—along with two Rotaract Clubs (Khuree and Medical), two Interact Clubs (Shine Mongol and Khuree Kosen), and Mongolia’s very first Rotary Community Corps (RCC). We have also fostered valuable partnerships with two sister clubs and two friendship Clubs internationally.
Our Club members have consistently exemplified the values of Rotary. All of our members are Paul Harris Fellows, and we are proud to have produced Mongolia’s very first Major Donors. Today, we count a total of nine Major Donors among us, with three new additions this Rotary year alone—an achievement that brings us immense joy and pride. Over the past 23 years, members of Khuree Rotary Club have implemented more than 75 major projects worth over USD 5.3 million, focusing on key areas such as health, education, sanitation, and environmental protection. These projects have been carried out in close collaboration with Rotary Clubs in South Korea, Japan, and Poland and with the unwavering support of The Rotary Foundation.
As of the 2024–2025 Rotary year, our Club consists of 37 dedicated members from diverse professional backgrounds, bringing together experienced leaders and the dynamic energy of younger generations. Together, we remain committed to creating positive and lasting change in our communities and beyond.
Thanks to the leadership of our Past Presidents and the unwavering commitment of our members, Khuree Rotary Club has grown into a strong and respected Club—not only within Mongolia but also on the international Rotary stage.
With the shared vision of “Service Above Self”, we extend our warmest congratulations to all Rotarians on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the Rotary Movement in Mongolia.
